CNC ENGRAVING

What is CNC Engraving?

CNC engraving means computer-controlled engraving. In this process a text, logo or drawing that has to be engraved is sent from a computer to a milling machine which converts the digital information to engraving motions. By means of milling this information is engraved into the material in the required depth. This process can be applied to different materials and used for many different applications.

Our machines are capable of engraving even the hardest materials. You can see a carbide cutter working on the first letter of this handle.

Ornate 3D relief carved from MDF. Highly detailed designs such as this can take hours upon hours of machining to finish.

We can engrave on numerous different materials. Acrylic is a popular choice as it is fast to machine and interacts with light!

In this picture you can see a steel stamping die being engraved with a fine point tool. This die is later mounted on a press for production use.

Name tag engraved from copper sheet. Spruce up your products and add value by adding unique labels to set them apart.

This intricate brass inlay was engraved with a .020" diameter end mill. The piece is finished with a patina and burnished to add depth.

Close up of deep engraving on #260 yellow brass. Notice edges of the relief are sharp and crisp.

Milling brass on a cnc router? Absolutely! Our industrial cnc router is rigid enough to perform machining operations on softer metals.
